This Privacy Policy explains how BIT FISH, s.r.o. ("we", "us", "our") collects and uses your personal data when you use LiveLogger / SimDriverCoach (the "Service"). We are the data controller.

A note on beta: The Service is in a beta phase, which affects features and availability (see our Terms of Service). It does not relax how we protect your personal data — the commitments in this Policy apply fully during beta.
1. What we collect
Account data
- Email address (required to create and verify your account)
- Password (stored securely, hashed, by our authentication provider — we never see it in plain text)
- Country of residence (for billing and tax)
- If you sign in with Google: your email and basic profile information from Google
- Optional profile details you choose to add (e.g. display name / public handle, iRacing customer ID)
Telemetry and usage data
- Sim-racing telemetry: lap times, sector times, driving inputs, car setup, and related data captured (read-only) from your iRacing client
- How you use the Service (for example, which features you use)
Payment data
- When you buy credits, payment and billing details (including your name and billing address) are collected and processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details. We receive limited information from Stripe (such as your name, billing country, and a record of the transaction) to issue invoices and keep accounting records.
2. What we do NOT do
- We do not send your email address, postal address or payment details to any AI provider. An AI analysis receives your driving data — telemetry, controller inputs, session and race results — and, where the analysis needs it, your iRacing driver name — on iRacing, your real name — and the public iRacing names and iRatings of drivers you raced against.
- We do not sell your personal data.
3. Sharing: what leaves your computer, and what does not
Nothing identifiable is published automatically. Your laps, your telemetry, your car setup and your driver name appear on the public leaderboard only when you deliberately share them, and you can unshare them at any time. Once shared, a lap can be downloaded by other drivers; unsharing removes it from the leaderboard, but not from copies already downloaded.
What does leave automatically is anonymous. So that every driver has something to measure against, your sessions contribute averaged curves — speed, throttle, brake and steering, averaged across laps — to Data Exchange, a shared pool keyed by track, car, iRating band and race week. These averages carry no account identifier, no driver name, and no individual lap; they cannot be traced back to you. In return you see how your iRating band drives the same corner, overlaid on your own charts.
It is reciprocal. During beta, contributing anonymous averages is part of the free plan for everyone. A future paid plan will let you turn it off — which also stops your access to other drivers' averages: both directions close together.
Laps shared before August 2026. Earlier versions of the Service automatically published top-ranked laps, including telemetry, setup and driver name. That practice ended in August 2026 and no lap has been published automatically since. Laps published under the earlier practice remain on the leaderboard with the consent of the drivers concerned; if you are affected and want a lap removed, contact us and we will remove it.

5. Who we share data with
We share data only with service providers that help us run the Service:
- Supabase — authentication and database hosting
- Stripe — payment processing
- AI providers — receive your driving data and, where the analysis needs it, your iRacing driver name (on iRacing, your real name) and the public names and iRatings of drivers you raced against; never your email address, postal address or payment details
- Hosting and infrastructure providers
- Other users — laps you choose to share, and anonymized averages (see Section 3)
These providers process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements. Some may process data outside the EU; where they do, appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) are in place.
When you use your own Claude (Pro). The conversation runs on your own Claude Code, signed in with your own Anthropic account. Your Claude Code sends your questions, and the data our tools return — your telemetry, sessions and race results, which can include other drivers' public iRacing names — to Anthropic, under your own agreement with Anthropic, whose privacy policy applies to it. We do not send your data to Anthropic ourselves, and we never see or store your Anthropic credentials.
6. How long we keep it
- Account and telemetry data: while your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
- Payment and invoice records: for as long as required by tax and accounting law (typically up to 10 years under Slovak law).
7. Your rights
If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Delete your data ("right to be forgotten"), subject to records we must keep by law
- Restrict or object to certain processing
- Receive your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in Slovakia: the Office for Personal Data Protection — Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov)

8. Security
We use reputable providers (Supabase, Stripe) and reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we take protecting your data seriously — including during beta.
9. Children
The Service is not intended for anyone under 16 (or the age of digital consent in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy. If we make material changes, we will notify you. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the current version.
