This Privacy Policy explains how BIT FISH, s.r.o. ("we", "us", "our") collects and uses your personal data when you use LiveLogger / SimDriverCoach (the "Service"). We are the data controller.

A note on beta: The Service is in a beta phase, which affects features and availability (see our Terms of Service). It does not relax how we protect your personal data — the commitments in this Policy apply fully during beta.
1. What we collect
Account data
- Email address (required to create and verify your account)
- Password (stored securely, hashed, by our authentication provider — we never see it in plain text)
- Country of residence (for billing and tax)
- If you sign in with Google: your email and basic profile information from Google
- Optional profile details you choose to add (e.g. display name / public handle, iRacing customer ID)
Telemetry and usage data
- Sim-racing telemetry: lap times, sector times, driving inputs, car setup, and related data captured (read-only) from your iRacing client
- How you use the Service (for example, which features you use)
Payment data
- When you buy credits, payment and billing details (including your name and billing address) are collected and processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details. We receive limited information from Stripe (such as your name, billing country, and a record of the transaction) to issue invoices and keep accounting records.
2. What we do NOT do
- We do not send your personal data (name, email, address, etc.) to any AI/LLM provider. Our AI coaching is generated from your telemetry and controller inputs only.
- We do not sell your personal data.
3. Automatic sharing of your top laps (free plan)
On the free plan, when one of your laps ranks in the top 5 for a given track, car, and conditions, that lap — including its telemetry, sector times, car setup, and your driver name — is automatically shared to the public leaderboard so other users can view and compare against it.
- This is a built-in condition of the free plan, disclosed here and in our Terms. By using the free plan you agree to it.
- You cannot unshare a lap while it remains in the top 10 for those conditions; once it drops out of the top 10 you may unshare it.
- A future paid plan will let you disable this forced sharing.
Your driver name and lap performance are visible to other users as part of this feature. If you do not want your top laps shared, do not use the free plan.

5. Who we share data with
We share data only with service providers that help us run the Service:
- Supabase — authentication and database hosting
- Stripe — payment processing
- AI/LLM providers — receive telemetry and controller inputs only, never your personal data
- Hosting and infrastructure providers
- Other users — your top-ranked laps and driver name, via the public leaderboard (see Section 3)
These providers process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements. Some may process data outside the EU; where they do, appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) are in place.
6. How long we keep it
- Account and telemetry data: while your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
- Payment and invoice records: for as long as required by tax and accounting law (typically up to 10 years under Slovak law).
7. Your rights
If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Delete your data ("right to be forgotten"), subject to records we must keep by law
- Restrict or object to certain processing
- Receive your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in Slovakia: the Office for Personal Data Protection — Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov)

8. Security
We use reputable providers (Supabase, Stripe) and reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we take protecting your data seriously — including during beta.
9. Children
The Service is not intended for anyone under 16 (or the age of digital consent in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy. If we make material changes, we will notify you. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the current version.
